Accommodation

You will be provided with a private, semi-furnished apartment. The teacher is responsible for paying the rent (approximately 55,000 yen per month) and utilities. The school will pay key money, deposits and real estate agent fees.
Furniture provided in the apartment will consist of: Futon (bedding), a refrigerator, a gas range, a washing machine, light fittings, and cooking utensils.
You will be responsible for paying any damages incurred during your time in the apartment.

The basic salary is 250,000 yen per month.
On completion of your one-year contract, you will receive a completion bonus of 100,000 yen for teachers who are hired from overseas. This is designed to help cover the cost of airfares or relocation, and to reward your hard work!

Paid holidays are predetermined. Holidays are approximately six weeks per year; two weeks in winter, one in spring, one in summer and 12 days which are national holidays throughout the year.

ABC PLUS will provide one week of training, plus one week of one-the-job training where a director will be available to offer feedback and answer questions.
ABC PLUS supplies books and materials if necessary.
ABC PLUS will hold monthly meetings at its main office for ALTs where they can share ideas and techniques, as well as attend workshops lead by senior teachers.
ABC PLUS will help teachers solve any problems at their schools.
